Definitions
|
- Waning -To decrease in size, amount, intensity, or degree; decline.
- Disproportionate - Out of proportion, as in size, shape, or amount.
- Insurgence - The action or an instance of rebellion.
- Epidemiology - The branch or medicine that deals with the causes, distribution, and control of disease in populations.
- Cardiovascular - Of, or relating to, or involving the heart and the blood vessels.
- Pancreatic - Pertaining to the pancreas. The pancrease is both an exocrine and an endocrine organ. The exocrine secretion of the pancreas consists of powerful enzymes, which contribute to the digestion of all food types in the small intestine. The endocrine glands secret hormones.
- Prostate - A gland, consisting of a median lobe and two lateral lobes, that surrounds the neck of the bladder and the urethra in the male. The gland secrets a thin, opalescent, slightly alkaline fluid that forms part of the seminal fluid.
- Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma - A group of malignant tumors of B or T lymphocytes that are newly diagnosed in about 45,000 Americans annually.
- Multiple Myeloma - A malignant disease characterized by the infiltration of bone and bone marrow by neoplastic plasma cells.
- Gallbladder - A pear shaped sac on the underside of the right lobe of the liver that stores bile recieved from the liver.
- Correlation - A casual, complementary, parallel, or reciprocal relationship, esp. a structural, functional, or qualitative, correspondence between two comparable entities.
- Renal Cell - Of, relating to, or in the region of the kidneys.
